Authors Note: I was asked a question by a brother in Christ, and this is the lengthy response I felt to give him. Please take the time to read it fully to the end. It may surprise you as to what you'll discover and see. JCR
April 10, 1996

Dear Brother Charles:
First, I wanted to thank you for the use and loan of your only copy of the tape you let me see. I do appreciate your trust, and for the responsibility you entrusted in me for its safe return. By now, you should have received it. I read your booklet completely, and saw your tape in like manner. It is interesting to see how similar all men are throughout the world, though we speak different languages. From the needs of housing, to communications of ideas or thoughts, we are all the same. Customs may differ, but that is a minor thing to overcome in most cases. Further, by now, you should have received the most recent, and lengthy, article as well.
You had asked me the following question:

"In the meanwhile may I take the liberty in the Spirit to ask you what the Spirit said to you in the Word that on page 38 you typed on your computer, "the Judgment Seat of Christ?"

This stems from my words found on that page: "What one decides does affect his life on this earth, then at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Because one day, we will all have to stand before ourselves, and Him, on Judgment Day."
There is a lot associated with this, and this letter may become rather lengthy, of which I hope that you'll forgive me. But I rather be complete and thorough with you, as I do to all others the Lord brings across my path. Please forgive my use of the New American Standard Bible, as I feel that it has the same "weight" as the KJV, and I use it due to its readability. Please follow along in your KJV if you rather desire to. I do not desire to bring offense to you concerning this situation of Bibles.
2CO 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. [KJV]

2 COR 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. [NASB]

ROM 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? Or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. {KJV]

ROM 14:10 But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you regard your brother with contempt? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God. [NASB]
This is true and accurate in what you are seeing, Brother Charles. This is a mystery so-to-speak, as most are under the impression that it will be God Himself (The Father) that will do the judging. In reality, He is there at that Day of Judgment, but He doesn't speak during the actual time of Judgment that I can find, but afterwards. Therefore we have to look for confirmation of this, as we know the Scriptures will confirm themselves to a given thing shown. I guess the best way to handle it is to go through a time frame or sequence of events to reveal what His word is showing us. This first time frame is about the ministry of Jesus when He walked this earth, in relationship to what we are looking for.
When Jesus walked this earth, He made some statements that drove the religious leaders of His day mad. He equated Himself with God, which was rightfully so; because He is God in the flesh, the Son of God. The Jewish religious leaders couldn't accept it at that time. In essence, Jesus was telling the common man that they didn't need religion to have access to His Father, but through Him. There is where the rub came between Jesus and those religious leaders. Some of the things that Jesus taught were the following passages. Though not the most complete listing for you Brother Charles, it is a good start in your search for the truth.
LUK 10:21 At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I praise Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou didst hide these things from {the} wise and intelligent and didst reveal them to babes. Yes, Father, for thus it was well-pleasing in Thy sight.

LUK 10:22 "All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal {Him.}"

LUK 10:23 And turning to the disciples, He said privately, "Blessed {are} the eyes which see the things you see,

LUK 10:24 for I say to you, that many prophets and kings wished to see the things which you see, and did not see (them,} and to hear the things which you hear, and did not hear {them.)"

JOH 3:35 "The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.

JOH 3:36 "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

JOH 5:16 And for this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath.

JOH 5:17 But He answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working."

JOH 5:18 For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.

JOH 5:19 Jesus therefore answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless {it is} something He sees the Father doing; for whatever {the Father} does, these things the Son also does in like manner.

JOH 5:20 "For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and greater works than these will He show Him, that you may marvel.

JOH 5:21 "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.

JOH 5:22 "For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son,

JOH 5:23 in order that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

JOH 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

JOH 5:25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear shall live.

JOH 5:26 "For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself;

JOH 5:27 and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is {the} Son of Man.

JOH 5:28 "Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs shall hear His voice,

JOH 5:29 and shall come forth; those who did the good (deeds} to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil {deeds} to a resurrection of judgment.

JOH 5:30 "I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

JOH 13:3 {Jesus,} knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God, and was going back to God,
Brother Charles, that in itself, is a "mini-story" that tells its own tale. As you can see from the words of Jesus, especially what you have seen in John 5 above, that the Father had given all judgment into the hands of His Son. Again, please understand that these are only part of the many Scriptures that say basically the same thing, but I felt to limit the number of them due to brevity over the long run. Your daily search of the Scriptures with His Spirit will reveal more, and show you more. Our next focus is in heaven.
HEB 1:3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high;

HEB 1:13 But to which of the angels has He ever said, "Sit at My right hand, until I make Thine enemies a footstool for Thy feet"?

ROM 8:34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
We should know the purpose of Jesus interceding for us, as Satan is the accuser of the brethren, who travels back and forth, from earth to heaven, to accuse us before God.
JOB 1:7 And the Lord said to Satan, "From where do you come?" Then Satan answered the Lord and said, "From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it."

JOB 1:8 And the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil."

JOB 1:9 Then Satan answered the Lord, "Does Job fear God for nothing?

JOB 1:12 Then the Lord said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power, only do not put forth your hand on him." So Satan departed from the presence of the Lord.

JOB 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the Lord.

JOB 2:2 And the Lord said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Then Satan answered the Lord and said, "From roaming about on the earth, and walking around on it."

JOB 2:3 And the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man fearing God and turning away from evil. And he still holds fast his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to ruin him without cause."

JOB 2:4 And Satan answered the Lord and said, "Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life.

JOB 2:6 So the Lord said to Satan, "Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life."

JOB 2:7 Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.
